Pachelbel’s Canon in D multitrack

Played here by flute, recorder, clarinet, tenor sax, and drums. A similar arrangement for four recorders can be found here: www.mfiles.co.uk Haven’t played the sax for a while. I guess this isn’t really an excuse for being “rusty”, since I wasn’t that great at sax to begin with :) When I play the tenor sax, it sometimes sounds like a dinosaur screaming out in pain… Here’s an amusing stand-up comedy sketch about this tune: www.youtube.com PS, for some banana action, check out www.youtube.com

@CrazyOnMyOwnTerms Thanks for the tip :) I’ll take any advice! I’ll try to remember it next time I take a shot at drums :)

This is great, just one bit of constructive criticism; I am by no means a drum expert, and I’m only mentioning this because you clearly like to play instruments right (otherwise you wouldn’t play so many) anyway, I think you’re holding the drumsticks wrong; I don’t think your finger is supposed to extend along the stick. And make sure you’re holding the drumsticks fairly loosely as well; it makes things a LOT easier. Get someone to shoy you how to hold the sticks, though; great job on it all!

what program did u use to edit this?

  11. iolair1973 March 28, 2011 at 10:37 pm #

That’s weird, all the people in your band look just the same! I love the split video editing here, what software do you use?

I’m going to try to do something similar I think, though I only have 2 (or 3, on a good day) instruments…

This version is good!!! But you should probably work on blending the instruments. You should also work on you drum stick position cause your holding the sticks wrong

Now you even added a Tenor sax – is there any instrument that you don’t play ? :)
