Jhoann Pachelbel – Canon in D – Alto Flute

The famous Canon by Pachelbel played on my new alto flute.
This is a triplication of the same video. My hands added in the forth space
You can find this score and many others on a site called Werner Icking Music Archive. it’s all free!

Actually, your diaphragm is an involuntary muscle which expands and contracts as you breathe. Therefore it all depends on breathing. (:

the vibrator is not that murmur that u hear because that is the difference in pitch since the flute recordings arent quite in pitch with each other, but that would be really hard to achieve when u record it like this :)

oh and now i heard some vibrato too :) ye, u need to vibrate with ur diaphragm to get a solid and beautiful vibrato.. your throught is just an air passage and when u use it to vibrate it gets tense and this kind of vibrato comes out.
othervise nicely done with tempo! :)

A few suggestions: work a little bit on your vibrato :) Try pulsating your sound at a given tempo (start slow, work your way up). Secondly, when you are hitting the higher notes, they are coming out a bit sharp, so just make sure to listen. (for instance, around 3:36ish the top part is getting sharp) I thought that the way that you made this was Very creative! Nice work! What type of flute to you have?

    ever heard anything about intonation?
i had to stop listening to it after 1,5 minutes, because it’s so fucking out of tune. you probably get sick, when you listen to this for longer than 3 minutes….
